Diaries of a Junk Girl (10.10.14) ~ Vintage Roller Date Stamp Storage & Organization!

Whether you are a pocket scrapbooker, art journaler, or planner nerd, chances are you have at least one or more roller date stamps in your stash. You can add a date, sentiment and/or border to your work in a matter of moments with these super versatile paper crafter essentials.

Collecting different roller date stamps from a variety of manufacturers is definitely super fun. I store all of my "sentiment" roller stamps in this vintage wooden sewing drawer that I house on my Ikea Raskog cart.

All of my roller "date" stamps are stored on this vintage Standard rubber stamp carousel that sits on top of my desk.

I have been looking for a way to catalog my "sentiment" roller stamps so that I can access them easily. When I spotted this $10 Goodwill find, I knew it would be the PERFECT solution. It is a vintage Rolodex file system!

I used my vintage Dymo Label Maker, Avery repositional label stickers, and my Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks to create divider tabs inside the Rolodex.

I used black archival ink to stamp all of the sentiments on one manilla Rolodex card.

The top tabs are color coded to match the handle color of each sentiment roller stamp.

And, VOILA'!!! I would love to hear how you organize your "sentiment" & roller "date" stamps. Please feel free to leave me a comment below.

Happy Friday! Shelley :D

    1. I know, right?!?!? AND, you can't beat $10! SERIOUSLY! I believe the RCAD's are the same as ATC's (artist trading cards) expect it's on a Rolodex card. It does sound intriguing!!!

  5. I use that same storage spinner you have but have two tiers. I made a guide using tags...printed all the sentiments, etc , one tage for each stamp, and then numbered the stamp and tag accordingly. I keep the tags on a ring clip right next to the spinner.
